Ok boys and girls. One week in wow, is it amazing how different I feel. I made a list of things I wanted to accomplish during this transition to an optimally healthy lifestyle. Almost everything on that list has improved. Food sensitivities, breaks outs, headaches, fatigue, dry skin, quality of sleep, and sinus congestion were some of my main issues. I was getting adjusted regularly, eating somewhat decent, and working out a few days a week before I started Whole 30. It wasn’t enough. The sugar, dairy, and grains in my diet were preventing me from becoming truly healthy.  I have noticed significant improvement in everything I just listed in only one week of eating exceptionally clean. No headaches, no sinus congestion, no break outs after eating, no stomach issues, sleep has significantly improved thus erasing my fatigue, and I have had more energy than I can remember. Weight loss has never been a big factor in my life. I’ve always appreciated how strong my body is at any size, but just from shedding some pounds this week I already feel even more comfortable in my own skin. I know most people try fad diets, fasting, or exercise excessively to lose weight and more often than not, miss out on positive results. Eating clean is the majority of the battle. If you work out every day but fuel your body with junk, the pounds will stick around. Eat clean and stick to a regular work out routine and I promise you will notice a big difference. I’m only one week in. 7 days. I can’t imagine what other positive transformations I will see in the rest of the month.
