We are closing out the first month of 2020 in a week or so and are seeing a steady decline in the “new years resolutions habits” everyone set on January 1st. We are all guilty of setting extremely high expectations for changing ourselves at the turn of a new year, and 3-4 weeks in is the most common time to fall back to old habits and forget our resolutions. I find the end of January a great time to reflect on my personal health goals and see how I’ve been doing so far. Ask yourself, how am I doing with my goals? Were they realistic and attainable? OR did you set yourself up for failure right from the get-go?

Another great thing about a new month coming, is the possibility to set new goals. Just because you “cheated” or have “fallen off the wagon” in January, doesn’t mean your year of health should be thrown out the window. Take this last week of the month to set consistent, realistic goals for the next few days, weeks, and month.

“Little by little, a little becomes a lot”.

Forming new habits is hard, breaking old bad habits is even harder. Set yourself up for success by hitting your small goals and eventually you’ll notice drastic improvement in your health.

Do you need an accountability partner or maybe just help setting your health goals for the month? Let us know, that’s what we are here for! We are all trying to become better, healthier individuals.
